Note: I applied this polish on September 25th and the photo was taken on the 26th. I only was able to get one crappy photo of this polish before it started to chip. Oops.
I decided to do a pale pink before fall really hit because I figured I wouldn't be in the mood to do a pale pink again until around Valentine's day. I had bought the base color, Starfish, a while back and hadn't tried it yet.
The color itself is a perfect pale pink. It reminded me of my high school days when I was very much into the Spice Girls and Baby Spice was my favorite. Therefore I was very into pale pink and pale blue polishes. I was having flashbacks, hehe.
Application was fine but drying was a major problem. I had put on one coat which gave nearly full coverage. I waited about a half hour and then I had to go do something and the polish on my thumbs got messed up. Since I was putting on a glitter top coat (Show Stopping) on anyways, I fixed it the best that I could. To my amazement, it did blend into the existing polish pretty well.
Show Stopping is a clear top coat with tiny multiple colored circles. It blended in well with the pale pink and gave it a good sparkle pop.
The base color did chip pretty easily but just in random spots. It could be fixed easily if needed. It is Sinful Colors so I don't expect it to wear very long.
I am giving this mani a 4 out of 6 stars. I like the colors especially together however the dry time really bummed me out.
