Another My Little Pony polish! I had previously written about a couple of the MLP polishes that I had already tried. I decided to try the holo one in the bunch since I am still on such a holo kick.
This polish is super pretty but the polish is a little problematic with it's formula. The first coat is just confusing. The first nail I put it on it was instantly pretty good coverage and I thought oh yay, it'll just be one of those glitter polishes to put a 2nd coat on to really build up the glitter. Oh, how wrong I was. The rest of the nails were all a streaky first coat. This is one of those rather liquidy polishes that will move on the nail after you put it on. So it will flood the sides of your nails if you are not careful. It is manageable but it something you need to be prepared for.
However it builds up rather nicely on the 2nd coat. It also doesn't seem to run as much as on the nail once it has that first coat foundation. The color is kind of a purple jelly that looks like a jelly finish. I would have liked a bit more holo coverage but that is just my preference! I might have done another thin layer on it just to see if the base color looked a little more solid. It feels rather dull against the holo.
Overall I am giving this polish a 3 out of 6 stars. I really like how it looked on the nail but I wasn't a huge fan of the formula.
