Note: I applied this polish on August 24th and took the photos on the 25th & 27th.
Polish used: Seraphina
Brand: Zoya
How many coats?: 3
Base coat used: China Glaze Strong Adhesion Basecoat
Top coat used: Seche Vite top coat
I needed to paint my nails quick and in a somewhat somber color. I was traveling to Virginia for my grandfather's funeral and need something that wasn't going to be too showy. I decided on the pale silver instead of a black because my grandfather was an amusing sort of man and I felt black was too somber of a color for a service in his honor.
I went with Seraphina. I had used it before but not in awhile. This is a sort of color that you need to put on thin coats in order to build up the color. It does cover well but it does tend to be a touch patchy. However, with the shimmer in it (which is pink and pretty!), it helps cover it up a bit. It probably could have used a 4th coat but I was in a hurry with last minute packing.
I had zero application problems in terms of the polish transfer from the brush to the nail. Dry time was average.
Sorry I didn't get any proper photos of this one. It was a crazy week and I barely remembered to take the photos that I did (one below was totally random on the road but I had to include it as you see the polish better than the photo above).
Overall I am giving this polish a 3 out of 6 stars. I enjoy the color and will wear it again, I am just impatient about the thin coats. Lazy polish lady alert, ha!
