Note: I applied this polish on December 23rd and took the photo on the 25th.
I decided to do the same thing I had done for my last mani. I used a different green and reversed the bottom layer so it was green instead of red. I also added glitter on the top so I had 3 colors going on. This is tamer than I have done in years past but I didn't have time to fool with tape and brushes and such.
For the bottom layer, I used OPI's 'Green on the Runway'. I have it as a mini as part of the Coca-Cola collection. It is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO streaky! I ended up doing 2 coats but it would not even out. It still looked looked really patchy but since I was doing other layers, I didn't want to end up with like 10 coats of polish on.
For the middle layer, I used Sinful Colors 'Sugar, Sugar'. As usual, it went on like a champ with one coat. Seriously the easiest application, you could not possibly mess it up.
For the top layer, I used China Glaze's 'Ray-Daint'. It is a lovely chunky glitter which is a gold/silver sort of combo. It adds a lot of coverage and is a glitter you could wear alone without a base coat. I used one coat for it. Eventually when I had tip wear, I did another coat of it and it blended in nicely.
Overall I am giving this mani a 4 out of 6 stars. I really liked the look but I will use a different green next time.
