Brand: Zoya
How many coats?: 2
Base coat used: China Glaze Strong Adhesion Basecoat
Top coat used: None
My birthday is this month and as a present for my birthday, my dear friend Mookie lets me pick out Zoya polishes when they do their rad deal in January. This year I got to pick 4 (I got Alice, Eden, Feifei, & Liv).
I ended up getting the order super quick this year (we were both baffled and pleased. Way to go Zoya!) so I decided to do the color closest to blue to honor my mom for her birthday (January 27th) since that is her favorite color and I do that every year. I was a little surprised when I got Alice in the mail. All of the swatches I had looked at online made it seem more cornflower blue but my bottle looked way more purple. It was also pretty purple on the nails.
Luckily, I LOVED the color. The blue/purple is pretty unique in my collection and I LOVED the pink shimmer in it. I am so glad that Zoya decided to do Pixiedust again. I love everything about it and need all of the colors. The first coat of Alice was a little streaky especially when trying to even it out around my tips. I felt like I was pushing the nail polish around. However it evens out really well on the 2nd coat. It also dried very quickly! I didn't put a top coat on because the Pixiedust is designed to not have to worry about top coat and boy did it last quite awhile. I took the following photos on February 3rd after having it on for 5 full days:
I am very rough on my hands. I hand wash dishes and wash my hands a lot, so I was pretty amazed on how well it stayed on!!!
Overall I am giving this polish a 5 out of 6 stars. I love the color, the pink shimmer, and the wear time.
