BLACK ON BLACK/CARRIE'D AWAY (SINFUL COLORS/NICOLE)

Note: I applied this polish on May 26th and took the photos on the same day.





Polish used: Black on Black and Carrie'd Away

Brand: Sinful Colors and Nicole

How many coats?: One coat for both

Base coat used: China Glaze Strong Adhesion Basecoat

Top coat used: Seche Vite top coat





I was going to Iowa for my cousin's graduation and I wanted my mani to be his school colors. Oddly, his school colors ended up being the same as my high school colors so it was a combo I already knew and loved. I decided to do black as the base and then I used a makeup sponge to sponge the gold onto my tips. The tips did wear away a bit but it was super easy to just fix it with the gold polish with another thin coat (I took it with me on my trip just in case). I also was able to do that with my accent nail since my top coat went a little weird and started peeling at one point.





Overall I am giving this polish a 4 out of 6 stars. Simple but super pretty. Again, may be biased on the color combo since I have sentimental view on black and gold, haha!
